As autumn draws near, you are warmly welcomed to join us for storytelling and a dance in the Great Hall, as we celebrate the seasons turning.

Let us gather & store the inspirations of the summer nectar, and ferment our collective ideas & energies into a shared honey of community creativity; to sustain us in the winter months ahead.

STORY & SONG

SAMANTHA ROSE - Opening the Space

Sacred Storytelling to honour the earth and her natural cycles and support visions of a sustainable and hopeful future.

Samantha listens and reflects the stories of people and the earth. She has been a storyteller since young, receiving the magic of story passed down from her mother and her great grandmother. She has traveled around the world learning from some of the best Storytellers in the world including Martin Shaw, David Novak and Donna Washington. She has had the privilege to sit and learn from some aboriginal people of Australia, carrying their teachings and wisdom in her heart with respect. Samantha is deeply passionate about receiving and sharing the stories of a new earth.

 

JENNIE HONEY - Hedgerow poetry

Local poet Jennie Honey shares her own sweet blend of rich nature inspired poetry.

 

RIVKA GREEN - Song of the Bee

Rivka Green of theatre troupe ‘Callithump’ brings to you her ode to the bee. This is an interactive experience; all voices are welcome!

Join us as we celebrate life with a dance. Giving thanks for the unifying force of music!

Local DJ Fungi Phill reminds us that we are all connected, and brings a playful bouncy set of selections to the dance floor.

Green T is the creative director of Pollen Tribe & Honeyflower Sounds. Often playing sets influenced by his caribbean roots, expect a warm selection of reggae, dub and carnival flavours. Time to get your wiggle on!

Local performers Felix & friends shows us their next level talents with a variety of  impressive circus skills!

Crystal Ball wizardry with CURLY BARD

Curly is a wizard with his crystal ball! Prepare to be amazed as he shares his magical contact ball improvisation skills for us.
