Sunshine music for the masses! The happy hippo always brings the sunshine no matter what the weather. This DJ/producer has created his own unique party vibe by infusing Afro, Latin and Caribbean music into his tastefully produced selections of Breaks, House, Drum & Bass/Jungle and Hiphop, resulting in pure feel-good sunshine party music designed to move your feet

He has brought his good vibes to major stages at some of the UK's best festivals including Boomtown, Glastonbury, Shambala and Greenman; aswell as programming stages, takeovers and events for his extended family Tropical Tea Party. 

He and his ‘TTP’ family are much loved for the extreme effort and attention to detail that goes into the decoration and design of their
parties, turning otherwise ordinary tents and venues into tropical havens with an exciting array of world-infused dance music and entertainment to match! He also leads the live collective Hippo Sound System a group of musicians and producers who explore new fusions of world music with bass music, steeped in carnival and sound system culture. Behind the scenes of his band, events and larger festival shows he is still one of Bristol's most hard working DJ’s and continues to hold residencies at some of the cities key musical hotspots including.... This has earned him a well trusted reputation on the decks along with countless hours of experience working crowds of all types and ages.

The latest edition to the Tropical Tea Party Family, Maetrix has been mashing up the dance floors from Bristol to Croatia with her unique blend of drum & bass & tropical infused house.

Honeyflower Soundsystem represents two hand made hybrid soundsystems, built by Stable Audio & Kota Sound respectively. Aiming to provide warm bass & hi-fidelity clarity of sound, they host artists & play a variety of music, including world, carnival, jungle, breaks reggae, dub, psy dub, glitch. 

PHOTOSYNTHESIS

We are always aiming to upgrade after each event, and so are pleased to announce this new collaboration. Welcoming in Photosynthesis, who we will now be working with to create the best lighting experience for each individual event.

- This particular event is not designed for kids, although kids are always welcome at our events. Whilst there will be amplified music; we aim for hi-fidelity sound, but we do definitely recommend if you do bring your child that you purchase ear defenders to protect them at any event with amplified music.
