Our Community Open Day in collaboration with Moor Meadows

With live acoustic music by Avalon Roots

Join us in The Meadow for tea with the bumbles, butterflies and wildflowers. Come see what we're up to and learn more about Meadows.

We would also love to introduce you to the newest member of our colony - the very lovely Ross Perrett who joined our team this Spring. Ross has been incredibly supportive in a multitude of ways since we met two years ago at the first Tea in the Meadow event. From scything to hackle making, he's been eager to learn and incredibly encouraging. We're delighted to welcome him into our little collective.

DETAILS:

There will be a guided walk & talk at 1pm

Refreshments: Tea & Biscuits

***Weather Permitting***

This is a free event however donations for the project are always welcome.

Please note: The Meadow is a wild pollinator haven so please be respectful where you step. Stick to the pathways that run along the perimeter of the land so our day has as little foot fall-impact as possible, thank you. There are a few nettle and bramble patches
so please dress appropriately for being on the land.

The Meadow is a wild pollinator and honeybee sanctuary on the Dartington Estate. Our aim is to establish a thriving wildflower meadow which will increase bio-diversity and strengthen local our ecology. Creating a haven for wildlife – we're making natural habitats for bees, butterflies, bugs and bats.

As bee guardians, we are dedicated to the well-being of our pollinating allies, trusting in the resilience of the colony and their inherent wisdom.

DIRECTIONS TO THE MEADOW:

We are located on the Dartington Estate. Please main park in the car park across the street from the Darington Hall entrance. Walk up the hill passed the Green Table following the main road around the bend. You will see the entrance gate on your left (which is opposite a row of cottages).
